Department of Roads (DoR is one of the largest organizations under the Ministry of Works & Human Settlement (MoWHS)
The primary goals of the Road Sector are:

To improve quality of life of rural population through improved access to socioeconomic facilities and to markets, health and education facilities, etc.
To enhance reliability and safety of road transport through reduced road user costs, travel time, accidents and transportation costs of goods and services.
